Both options are $220 per subscription, which covers 2 pickups. The difference is frequency. If you want more meat each month, choose 2x monthly. If you are a smaller household, the 1x monthly option gives you two pickups spread over two months.

Your subscription pick up will generally be frozen. Frozen ensures that your product maintains the same quality as when we fulfilled it. If you are interested in fresh, never frozen, you can call for a custom order which we will put together and you will be able to pick up.
ALL of our meat is locally raised by farmers we know and trust. Local for us is usually within a 40 mile radius and within Massachusetts. In some isolated cases, due to seasonality, logistics or demand, we will obtain meat from farms in adjacent states like Vermont. We never buy meat processed more than an hour’s drive from Springfield. This is in contrast to other meat venders and delivery services, which often carry a few items or cuts which are local, or even raised by them, with other options being the same as what you find in the grocery store, slapping a label with their name hoping you'll assume it is also “their” meat.
All our beef is grassfed on pasture in Ashley Mass. They have never been in a feedlot or involuntarily confined in small spaces. Pigs are farm raised with room to roam, clean pens, and fresh air in Hawley, Massachusetts. Chickens are actually pastured in Easthampton and Sunderland, Mass with an organic diet. You’ll often see labeling or hear the term antibiotic and hormone free for beef, pork and chicken, as if this is a unique feature. In reality, ALL meat sold in the USA is supposed to be antibiotic and hormone free but we mention it to assure you that ours is too, and we can confirm it directly.
Each pickup includes up to 10 lbs of meat. You choose what's in it from our selection of beef, pork, and chicken cuts.
- 2x month — You pick up every two weeks. Great for larger households or those who go through meat quickly. Picking up more frequently also means smaller amounts at a time, which is easier on your freezer.
- Monthly — You pick up once a month. A great fit for smaller households who want a steady supply without the extra frequency.
You choose from up to 10 cut categories, which include a mix of beef, pork, and chicken. Options include things like ground meat, grillable cuts like steaks and chops, slow-cook and braising cuts, sausage, boneless chicken, and bone-in chicken. A description and photo of each option is provided so you know exactly what you're selecting.
Yes! Your selections are set for your first 2 pickups. When it's time to renew, you'll have the opportunity to change your cut selections for the next cycle. If you're on the 2x monthly plan, that's after about one month. If you're on the monthly plan, that's after about two months.
This is not an auto-renewing subscription. When you sign up, you are committing to 2 pickups at $220. Once your two pickups are complete, you'll receive a renewal notice. You are only charged again if you choose to renew — no surprises, no automatic billing.
Absolutely. Since there is no automatic recurring charge, simply choose not to renew at the end of your 2-pickup cycle. No hidden fees, no cancellation hoops.
We'll send you a reminder by text and/or email a few days before your scheduled pickup so you're never caught off guard. If you know in advance that you won't be able to make it, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to work something out.
